The Story Behind Tired Budgie
It was a hot October afternoon in 🏙️ Dubai. A small yellow budgie landed on my balcony, exhausted, seeking shelter from the sun.
I gave him water, food, and shade. He just sat there. Silent. Completely drained.
That night, I ordered a bird cage. (15-minute delivery. I love this city.)
The next morning, I woke up to chirping. Happy chirping. He was alive. He was safe. And he had opinions about it.
At first, I was annoyed. I'd put him in another room to calm down, take a few minutes to decompress, grab water, stretch...
Then it hit me: This bird was forcing me to take breaks.
As a remote worker, I know I should rest my eyes, move my body, step away from the keyboard. But like everyone, I dismiss the gentle reminders.
You can't dismiss Diwa.
Not everyone has a screaming bird as a productivity coach. So I built one. The sounds you hear? That's actually him.
— Take care of yourself. Diwa demands it. 🦜
